About Us
At our East Sussex Plant Shop, we source only from established plant nurseries with good track records.
​
Most of our suppliers are quite local, so only the minimum of transport time and mileage is required: good for the plants and good for the planet too!
We have plants galore to suit all tastes and settings, from seasonal specialties to bedding plants or pot plants for shade or sun.
Our plants for sale vary naturally by season, but we know many of our customers like to plan ahead, so we're always thinking about when it is best to prepare for the next part of the year.
For some instant satisfaction we also have a selection of planters, ready planted - plus a fascinating collection of architectural salvage, re-purposed for planting or as stand-alone features in your garden.
Our Plants
Every plant we sell comes from healthy seeds, seedlings or cuttings - they have been carefully nurtured to bring life, colour and texture to your garden, patio or balcony.
Individual plants or those in trays are ready for you to pot on or plant out.

Our beautiful hanging baskets are ready to go as they are!
Our plants for sale comprise much more than bedding plants, although we have lots of those too. We have a wide range of perennials, shrubs, alpines and succulents, as well as bulbs, climbers and grasses.
We are proud or our comprehensive herb collection and love the blended scents that remind us of the pleasure of cooking with fresh ingredients.
Transform your outside space. We have planters in a wide choice of sizes, ranging from pots that will accommodate one or two plants to large plant pots that are perfect for creating focal points and colorful displays.
Don't forget our Coffee-to-Go. Sit and relax on the lawn with a cup of fresh tea or coffee. Enjoy an ice cream - available for dogs as well as humans - and admire the view south to the sea. And you can take your coffee with you when you go, of course!
With your four legged friends in mind, we are proud to stock healthy pet treats for Cats & Dogs from W'zis and Green & Wilds.
Available in store and online, our range of hand-poured, vegan-friendly scented candles are made here at Julie's Plants in East Sussex.
